Armin Ronacher's micro-framework: routing, templating (Jinja2) and WSGI, everything else is extensions. Its 2024 v3 and the surrounding ecosystem (SQLAlchemy, Marshmallow) keep it relevant for services, prototypes and teaching. When Django is too much, Flask is exactly enough.
